Your rule breaker type is…..

equalizer

You don’t hate rules, but you DO want them to apply evenly to all. The mismatch application of blame and shame is something you have absolutely no time for. You know that when we all have equal opportunities, we will collectively be better for it. You stand for equality, fairness, and the acceptance that we are all imperfectly perfect. You aren’t afraid to call it out when inequity is at work.

more about the equalizer

task

By being authentically and vulnerably you, you are setting the tone for those who are coming behind you. You have a unique perspective built from your own experience and your ability and interest in learning about others who are different from you. Keep clapping back and calling out injustice where you see it.

challenge

Haters gonna hate and sometimes that really hurts. It is impossible not to get frustrated and feel hurt when people are intentionally making things hard and refusing to see the impact of their actions. Stay focused on the mission and let the distractions wash off you like water off your favorite raincoat.

self-care

Unplug. Like really really unplug. Turn off allllll the social media, and the television, too. No podcast or other inputs and give yourself some space to just be. Talk with people who keep you centered and who love you for you, not simply the idea of you.

“Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” - RBG

celebrity companions

Chrissy Teigen

There is no one more perfect at the “clap back” than Chrissy Teigen. She is outspoken about the ways mothers are treated poorly and keeps it so real on all of her social media channels defending those who need it and calling out those who deserve to be roasted.

Viola Davis

After winning an Oscar, an Emmy and two Tony Awards, Viola Davis has proven herself as one of the world's leading actresses -- and yet, she still has to fight for equal pay. "I want and I expect to get the same filet mignon that white actresses get, cooked at the exact temperature."

RBG

The late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Gingsburg spent a majority of her career fighting for gender equality. She was one of 8 female students in her law school class of 500, but didn’t let hostile environments deter her from fighting for equal rights.
