WELCOME

Growth comes from grounding. Roots reach deep in the earth so that tree branches can stretch to the sky. I am reminded of this every time I reach for something without rooting first.

As I flip through the pages, I am struck by all the ways in which growth can occur, by making old things new again (A Modern Upgrade), by deciding where we want growth to take place (A Seat at The Table) and by moving through something challenging (Running Towards Healing). And as many ways as there are to expand, there are for us to take care of our foundation, ourselves.

Instead of struggling and striving for what’s next, I am inspired by those who can let the future unfold, who follow ferociously in their curiosity, and who leave space for possibility as they move forward. Root down, let go, and take up the space you need to grow.

I am growing whether I am pushing or not. I am learning from mistakes and successes, from those around me, those who came before me, and those coming behind me.
